Thallus, yellow grey to bright yellow green , thick, crustose, warted and deeply cracked.Fruiting bodies up to 1.5mm across and immersed in the thallus, pale yellow when young but becoming black and convex when older. K- KC+yellow. On exposed nutrient enriched acid rocks in the supralittoral.
